서울 기반으로 활동하는 큐레이터. 소위 '옳지 않은' 이미지들과 그것의 발생적 조건, 부적절한 것으로 인식되는 과정 그리고 재현되는 방식에 대한 지속적인 탐구를 이어오고 있다. 근래에 보다 집중하고 있는 연구 주제는 전쟁-기술적 시지각성에 대한 미디어 고고학적 접근과 전쟁-이미지가 재현-매개되는 방식, 더불어 전쟁이 시각 문화와 지각 방식을 조직하는 방식 등이다.
최근의 큐레토리얼 실천은 전시와 작품을 경유해 기획자 스스로의 담론을 전면에 내세우는 방식보다는, 창작자와의 긴밀한 과정 중심적이며 협업적 접근으로 이동하고 있다. 개별 창작자의 생산 과정에 보다 밀착하여, 창작의 궤적을 매개하고 개념적 전개에서부터 작품 또는 전시와 같은 가시적 형식에 다다르기까지의 모든 단계를 함께 해내는 것을 지향한다.

Engaged in sustained inquiry into “improper” images—their emergence, how they come to be seen as inappropriate, and the ways they are re-presented. Recent research explores how technologies developed for or through warfare shape visual perception, the mediation of war images, and the organization of visual culture and modes of seeing.
Curatorial practice shifting away from foregrounding the curator’s own discourse through exhibitions, toward a more process-oriented and collaborative approach. Working in close proximity to artists’ production processes—mediating trajectories of creation, accompanying every stage from conceptual development to the realization of visible forms such as artworks or exhibitions.
